Fr. Rutler, ping!
Is this satire?
Do you really see THIS pope saying something like that?
Nope.
The gates of hell shall not prevail. Christ’s church will stand.
The “Supreme Court” ruling will not.
Fr. Rutler is a great man. Brilliant.
May we all be strong enough to withstand the violent persecution at hand.
That’s the intention: wipe out anything Christian in this country.
Thanks for posting his columns NYer.
Two hundred and thirty nine years of independence from the tyranny of the british crown and court, and the supreme court of the United States just flushed it all down the toilet.
Tell rhe SCOTUS to pack up their shit and move back to jolly ole england. I’m sure that the socialists serving the crown have some room for nine more bootlickers.
SCOTUS, and the US court system, has lost all credibility as a legitimate agency.
When the people lose faith in your credibility, you are pretty much toast.

That culture?
Not necessarily a death sentence but certainly a bounty.
They crossed the supposed line the libs like to bring up “separation of church and state’ - the Supreme’s will mandate that homosexual marriages can be done in churches under penalty of law.
The followers of Christ will not be wiped out. They will just go invisible.
The Supreme Court will break on the Rock of our salvation, just as all other despots have done.
Psalm 2
The Messiahs Triumph and Kingdom
1 Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
3 Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.
4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
6 Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potters vessel.
10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
And all four of those societies suffered consequences, entirely aside from what the Church suffered, both then and reverberating down to today. Just something for the current powers that be to keep in mind.
