These discussions which seem to pop up regularly are amusing only in their confusion.
If Jesus did not intend for Peter to be the head of His Church, why did He explicitly say so? The anti-papists want to claim that Jesus didn't mean it when He said it. And off the road they go down into the weeds and tall brush in the ditch of ten-thousand sects. Lost on earth in plain sight of the Truth. Did I say amusing? Let me restate - it is plain sad.
