Pope Francis warned the rich and powerful on Tuesday that God will judge them on whether they fed the poor and cared for the Earth
"We must do what we can so that everyone has something to eat. But we must also remind the powerful of the Earth that God will call them to judgment one day," he said. "And there it will be revealed if they really tried to provide for him in every person, and if they did what they could to preserve the environment so that it could produce this food."

>> You are asking me to prove a negative which is impossible.
Your rhetorical skills are lacking. I’m not asking you to prove a negative; just the opposite.
I’m claiming an absolute negative, and suggesting that you disprove it. It’s one of the simplest things to do, really, if the truth is on your side.
To prove I’m wrong and make me go away, all you need do is come up with ONE counter-example of the Pope calling the global warmist scammers out for their many sins. Just one. That’s all it takes.
But let’s get real here: the po-po is a staunch ally of those who worship pagan Gaia. So it’s hard for you, and you’re whining under what should be a light burden — that is, a light burden if indeed you’re right and I’m wrong.
>> Has the Pope liquidated assets and started the food lines?
ROFL
To be fair, our catholic brothers and sisters do plenty of good works, including feeding the poor.
Bravo! I am a big CO2 enthusiast, and am proud to report that my compost pile exudes wonderful amounts of CO2, methane, water vapor, and other delightful greenhouse gases.
I personally would like to see atmospheric CO2 go up to 1500 or even 1800 ppm.
Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam.
He didn’t say he was going to re-make it.
He said that it would depart from his face for there was no place found for it. IOW there will be no material universe in which it could exist.
.
Why are you waking me up? Has the Pope sold the Vaticans assets yet and feeding the poor?
“Trumps”? Who said that?
I don’t think anybody “gets off” But from those to whom more as been given, more is expected.
“Nothing in Gods word tells us to care for the Earth”
The word ‘pope’ is not in the Bible either.
“He didnt say he was going to re-make it.”
Certainly He did, I quoted him saying that in the post you are replying to.
Not that I have an issue with “caring for the Earth” which, to me means “caring for what God has given us”, but do you know of any pre-Vatican II teaching regarding this “caring for the Earth”? I have been checking old catechisms and have found nothing.
Again, you laid the charge, you show the proof.
Secondarily, why does the Pope have to stand up and read a list of people who are frauds, crooks, reprobates, and other sinners and call each one out for their ways? It is absurd.
Rather, if you believe the Pope has said things you don’t like, then it should be easy to provide those quotations. Since you haven’t, I have nothing to go on.
By the way, as you put requirements on the Pope, by what right do you do so?
Not politically motivated?

but every time the Lord says to "choose," (and there are many), it logically entails the ability to choose, i.e. to exercise one's will.
From the Lutheran church:

>> The word pope is not in the Bible either.
... and this secular humanist joker Francis is some of the strongest proof yet that GOD didn’t intend corruptible cardinals to “vote in” an “infallible” corruptible human leader of the bride of CHRIST, which is His Son’s Church.
Bad idea, Church! Really BAAAAAD idea.
As I demonstrated, he is feeding the poor with the donations provided.
Why does he need to sell things freely given to the Church? Who are you to make the requirement?
Finally, if the Pope is such an horrible example, who do you suggest I look to as a modern person doing the things you like? Robert Tilton? Jim Bakker? Ernest Ainsley? Benny Hinn?
>> Again, you laid the charge, you show the proof.
That deflection is really the only arrow in your quiver, I have discovered. You use it over, and over, and over... ad nauseum.
No, I made a reasonable assertion; it’s for you to disprove it.
Or not. I see, not.
‘Bye now. Blessings on you.
The word of God says in numerous places that the entire universe will cease to exist, not that it will be remade.
There will be no purpose for it; we will be in the timeless realm of God.
“Apparently, you believe anything that you have thought might be true.”
Things that are self-evident to any conscious being? Yes, I believe those.
“I tend to look to the Book to find what is true...and free will is not there.”
Really? So you look to the Bible for what is true on EVERY matter and don’t use your God-given reason to figure anything out for yourself? That must be painful, as I imagine you keep grabbing hot things off stoves and such, since the Bible doesn’t tell you not to do so.
Wake me when your Pope sells the assets of the Vatican and feeds the poor.
