My point is that virtually every “christian” I know believes in forgiveness more than the Commandments. What does that say about their religion? If you believe in forgiveness, aren’t you rejecting God? You’re rejecting his Commandments, after all.

Ever notice how the forgiveness sales pitch is like today’s Obama sales pitch? Free trip to heaven! Just vote for me! Then, when questioned, claim others are intolerant and evil. Just look at all the responses to my supporting the Commandments! They are way out of line....speaking of which....

Elsie, I know you disagree with the Mormons. I believe that energy has unbalanced you, it has rendered you unable to see yourself. Your continual cut & paste screeds are unread by me since I see them as theocratic piffle. Try posting something philosophical that YOU wrote. THAT, I’ll read.

See you all next week.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms!

IF you ever actually learn what The Church is, you will find that there is an easy answer to your quandary:

My point is that virtually every “christian” I know believes in forgiveness more than the Commandments. What does that say about their religion?

How many of the commandments did Abraham follow/live by? ... Christians (but apparently not Mormons) KNOW in their heart that they are saved by faith, by faithing (the verb form), not by trying to keep the laws, the Commandments.

The Christian, those people who have made the confession that God has come in the flesh and died for our sins and been raised for our Salvation, lives by the two great commandments, to love the Lord thy God first above all else, and to love thy neighbor as you love your own hide.

What Joe Smith taught Mormons to do was set aside the Gospel of The Grace of God in Christ, and to try and do all that they can do to earn the Grace, thus making it not grace but an indebtedness, as if men could force or trick God into owing them Grace.

When / IF you awaken to that reality about Mormonism, you might just realize that the second of the two commandments of Jesus' teaching is why we oppose this false, hell's-highway religion of Joseph Smith, for he is used to lead too many away from the Truth of the Gospel. If we did not know that Jesus loves those being led to their doom without His Grace to Save them, we would not be loving them enough to be called all the silly names folks like you call us for ridiculing this satanically inspired religion of Mormonism.

Isn't the whole "intolerant" schtick yours? As for commandments. You're in violation of the 1st commandment (Mormons are polytheistic), you're also in violation of pride (for if you believe you are saved by your own merits, you open the door to boasting, which the scripture denies through grace), and also you are supporting false teachers and a false Gospels, all acts described as accursed.

Amen!

Follow COMMANDS and what do you have?

An obedient little boy who deserves a cookie for being god.

What do you have if you BREAK a command?

A sinner like me that NEEDS forgiveness!

Office of First President & Living Prophet®:

URGENT!

Fellow MORMON Freeper Christians!!

I've been getting lots of feedback from those of you on Free Republic (spit) about a certain Elsie, who is REALLY giving us a hard time there.

Why not try to point out to the uninformed how OBSESSED he seems to be.

Let's see if we can tangle him up so much trying to defend his reputation that he'll no longer have as much time to post facts about MORMONism.

As always, Tommy M.

Try posting something philosophical that YOU wrote. THAT, I’ll read.

And, no doubt, complain about.

Thanks for the advice; but I think I'll continue to post Mormonism's OWN words, instead.

You can defend them if you wish.
