ROMAN VESTMENTS
A name popularly given to liturgical vestments for Mass, in contrast to the Gothic style. Roman vestments are post_Tridentine and are characterized by a broad and short stole, and a chasuble, practically recangular in shape, and made of relatively stiff material so that the design flatly stands out.
