A Nigerian bishop says that he has seen Christ in a vision and now knows that the Rosary is the key to ridding the country of the Islamist terrorist organization Boko Haram. Bishop Oliver Dashe Doeme says he is being driven by a God-given mandate to lead others in praying the Rosary until the extremist group disappears. Towards the end of last year, I was in my chapel before the Blessed Sacrament
praying the Rosary, and then, suddenly, the Lord appeared, Bishop Dashe told CNA April 18. In the vision, the prelate said, Jesus didnt say anything at first, but extended a sword toward him, and he in turn reached out for it. As soon as I received the sword, it turned into a rosary, the bishop said, adding that Jesus then told him three times: Boko Haram is gone. I didnt need any prophet to give me the explanation, he said. It was clear that with the Rosary we would be able to expel Boko Haram.
..Bishop Dashe said he has a strong devotion to Christs mother and that I never joke with Mamma Mary. I know she is here with us... These terrorists
think that by burning our churches, burning our structures, they will destroy Christanity. Never, Bishop Dashe told several hundred people of the #WeAreN2015 congress. It may take a few months or a few years
but Boko Haram is gone. He later told CNA that prayer, particularly the prayer of the Rosary, is [what] will deliver us from the claws of this demon, the demon of terrorism. And, of course, it is working.

This guy also want us to set up a bank account so that he can transfer 54$ million American Dollars that had been stashed away by the His Excellency Prince of Loa Province upon the death of her Majesty’s youngest nephew?
Gee, that’s all it takes? Spread the word and get all Catholics to pray the rosary and all will be well ... who needs Jesus.
Maybe rosary beads need to be made of 308s.....
Your an ignorant tool.
Your reply indicates that you know nothing about the rosary.
Gee, thanks. I suspect you spend most of your time not explaining yourself. What did I say that made your hackles become apparent?
As a former Catholic, I know more than I want to know about the “rosary”.
I pray to Jesus directly. Sorry if you have to go through and intermediator, I don’t.
Helps if you also have 200 warships and 70,000 men.
Well, I don’t know, but I think it’s going to take some guns, etc. as well.
Former Catholic here too. Basically he’s saying, step aside God, you mama will take care of those big bad bullies. Pure idolatry.
People who refuses to acknowledge God's will in such matters are usually false prophets (e.g. 1 Kings 22) or they have a terrible understanding of the love of God for us. God is sovereign and reigns on high. His desire is for us to be holy as He is holy. He never promised us a rose garden but He will be with us in the path He as chosen for us if we let Him.
We need to reflect why God has brought this about rather than creating outcomes we would like to see happen.
I’ll try a bullet twixt the eyes, myself.
The Rosary was effective at Lepanto but it required guns and ships at the appropriate place.
There are courageous Christian leaders who will stand up to aggression using the cross as their only weapon. He is courageous to take his stand against these terrorists. The Christians who are killed in the Middle East will not die in vain.
Reverend David Wilkinson worked against gang violence many years ago. He went to the streets of New York with a bible and some people were converted to Christ.
"Step aside God"? Did you see the part where he said, "The Lord appeared"? He claims God got involved!
And still, with that, they were outnumbered and the Ottoman fleet had control of the engagement until the wind shifted.

Today's Rosary:
1. Sign of the Cross: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
2. The Apostles Creed: I BELIEVE in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
3. The Lord's Prayer: OUR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
4. (3) Hail Mary: HAIL Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen. (Three times)
5. Glory Be: GLORY be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Fatima Prayer: Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of your mercy.
Announce each mystery, then say 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys, 1 Glory Be and 1 Fatima prayer. Repeat the process with each mystery.
End with the Hail Holy Queen:
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve! To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears! Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus!
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
