If you know that you don’t have any authority over his church membership, then quit being obsessed with it and trying to convince people of a falsehood.
We know what church denomination that senator and presidential candidate Rubio, belongs to.
If bios of our candidates cause such a weird reaction in you, perhaps politics isn’t your thing.
Not having the authority and not being able to use my head and knowledge of Catholic teaching are two different things. One can recognize a thief when one sees one, but that doesn’t mean that same person thinks they can formally judge him as one.
Someone who claims to be Catholic but continues to worship at a non-Catholic service is not Catholic. He is at best suspect of heresy. The fact that he is any political persuasion is of no consequence to me.
And you didn’t answer my question: why is that you care so much whether Rubio is Catholic or not? Speaking of obsessed you certainly seem obsessed with a topic that has nothing to do with you.
For me, it’s not about convincing others. It’s about not being okay when others claim to be something they are not. Wouldn’t you take issue with someone (politician or not) who claimed to be the same religion you are when you could see by their actions that they were not?
You mean political bios are always truthful and always accurate? Political bios? Perhaps politics isn't your thing if you think so.
