My Bible says after the Passover.

Even so, either way, it sounds like Easter was already an established....ummmmm....holiday?...at the time of Peter's imprisonment so-o-o-o-o-o.....

“My Bible says after the Passover.”

Yes, which is Easter. That’s the point.

“Even so, either way, it sounds like Easter was already an established....ummmmm....holiday?”

Holy Day. Holiday is just Holy Day said as one word.

“...at the time of Peter’s imprisonment so-o-o-o-o-o.....”

So it’s okay to call today EASTER because that’s what we do in English. Other peoples say Pascha or a variant. We speak English here. And, in English, it’s called Easter.

By the way, EVERY Sunday is Resurrection Sunday. EVERY Sunday is a celebration of the Resurrection. “Each Sunday is a “little Easter” —a celebration of the
central mysteries of our faith.” http://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/the-mass/upload/celebrating-the-lords-day.pdf
