Beyond Mount Olivet, about one mile southeast of where Christ ascended into heaven, on the side of a nearby hill, is the traditional house where Martha and Mary lived with Lazarus, and where Christ raised Lazarus from the dead.

Interesting post. Just a wild thought, but I wonder if, when the LORD returns, he might reclaim some such properties. It could be an interesting scene, since the Muslims say they will welcome him when he comes. Thanks for the welcome. Can I have my church back now? Or; the angels and I would like to offer a Mass here. You won’t mind, of course?

You know, I realize it was God's Will, but I always think that, if I were Lazarus, I would have been disappointed to wake up and have to come back. Being in the place of rest, or even in Purgatory, I wouldn't want to come back to life. Funny thing, Jesus stood and told him to come forth and he did so. He obeyed. That's important.
I often wonder what the two spoke of afterward, what consolation Jesus offered. How the family and friends rejoiced, but was Lazarus sad? Just a thought...
