[When a friend was dying, his wife told us he said he was on the King’s Highway.]

The Book of Acts describes the accounts of Stephen seeing heaven open up before him prior to his stoning. Paul was lifted into heaven to record the Book of Revelation.

How is then any different than now?

God reveals what He wants us to know about Heaven - sometimes He uses people to do it.

“...Paul...” might want to change that to “...John...”

Lots. First, Paul didn’t write Revelation, John did. Second, Stephen didn’t come back and tell us about having been in heaven. Third, people exclaiming that they see angels and loved ones as they pass from this world to the next is well-documented and doesn’t usually include “coming back”.

It was inspired by God and added to the canon of Scripture.

God reveals what He wants us to know about Heaven - sometimes He uses people to do it.

Well great, crack open the canon of Scripture and add these books!
