The Holy Spirit called her mother of Jesus. Catholics call her mother of God. I for dont have to wonder who is more accurate.
We’ve had a conversation about this before; I do not recall your answer.
In John 1 we are told that the Word was God, was made flesh, was the only begotten of the Father, was Jesus.
In Luke 1 we are told that the angel of the Lord Gabriel told Mary that she would conceive and bring forth a son that she is to call Jesus, and that holy thing which shall be born of her shall be called the Son of God.
So how is it that Mary is not the Mother of God incarnate?
What did the Holy Spirit inspire the writers of scripture to call her? Mother of Jesus or mother of God?
How is it you appear to want to AVOID accepting the FACT that the phrase 'Mother of GOD' is NOT found in Scripture?
