“Holy Year of Mercy” belies the manure of modernism
Harvesting the Truth of Vatican II ^ | March 14, 2015 | Louie Verrecchio

And so the effort to grease the skids in preparation for what promises to be the upcoming Synod’s assault on Catholic doctrine in the name of “pastoral solutions” has been ratcheted up a notch:

Specifically, Pope Francis’ recent announcement of an “extraordinary Jubilee” under the title the Holy Year of Mercy.

“As I said, “All good and well”. But did you honestly know about before this past Thursday?”

Nope, but since I attend a Latin Mass parish (unlike you Pelosi and your Novus Ordo) there are somethings that are bound to go unnoticed.

“Did you church pastor know?”

I have no idea.

“If not, why not?”

He was probably too busy hearing confessions to take notice.

“The whole damn world new about the “Year of Mercy” as soon as the Pope opened his mouth.”

That always happens when they announce of these named years things. The same happened with the Year of Faith.

Except there are parishes doing it - as I showed.

Not true. You haven't named one parish that did it. Your refusal to answer my question, implies your parish didn't do it.

Please name one that did do it, besides those in Rome.

“St. Paul never condoned adultery, nor polygamy nor the “goodness” in homosexual unions.”

The Church has not condoned adultery nor homosexual unions. The Church did allow already formed polygamous unions to continue once upon a time, but that was only for a particular region, one particular people, and only one generation. But you would have had to actually know something about Church history to know that. I don’t assume you have or that you would.

What makes you think you know what Mass I assist at, Carmac?

No. But Francis and his SinNod buddies tried their best last fall.

Look who's parsing now! I said the "goodness in homosexual unions".

“Not true. You haven’t named one parish that did it.”

I mentioned - and posted a link to an article about it - that showed WHOLE DIOCESES (that’s PLURAL) were doing it in Ireland. Also, this link shows that 24 parishes did it LAST YEAR in Chicago alone: http://www.cantius.org/go/news/detail/st_johns_particpates_in_festival_of_forgiveness/

“Your refusal to answer my question, implies your parish didn’t do it.”

What refusal to answer? You asked and I answered. Here’s the proof:

Your question: “But did your Church have 24-hour confessions and Adorations this weekend?”

My answer: “Not that I know of, but my parish has a priest in the confessional hearing confessions for at least 16 hours each week so it wouldn’t really be as big a deal anyway.”

If you want to assume my parish didn’t do it go right ahead, but where did you get the nonsense that I refused to answer when the answer is right there in the post?

“Please name one that did do it, besides those in Rome.”

Do you not know how to use google? http://www.archchicago.org/StrategicPastoralPlan/Sacraments/festival-of-forgiveness/sites.aspx

You can apologize any time now.

Wow. I can’t wait to see your “parsing” of how “My Novus Ordo church” doesn’t mean “My Novus Ordo church”.

Kettle.

Pot.

Homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer to the Christian community.

Without denying the moral problems associated with homosexual unions, there are instances where mutual assistance to the point of sacrifice is a valuable support in the life of these persons.

The above statements were voted down by the majority of bishops at this past SinNod; but Francis ordered them to be published anyway. They are posted on the Vatican's website.

Doesn’t every Catholic parish have a novus ordo church? Does that mean I go to one of them, Carnac?

“The above statements were voted down by the majority of bishops at this past SinNod; but Francis ordered them to be published anyway. They are posted on the Vatican’s website.”

And I posted a link that showed the 24 hours of Confession was being offered in entire dioceses and you ignored it and claimed (falsely) that I didn’t provide any proof of it happening in parishes. And you said your church was a Novus Ordo church. Then you asked how I knew you attended a Novus Ordo parish. Now you’ll probably say it is a parish in your aread but not actually “yours” even though you said “My”. Keep running, ebb tide, keep running.

Maybe you should ask your husband since he probably does the driving.

Keep running, ebb tide, keep running.

Running from what? Francis' appeasements to homos, heritics, and harlots?

You're damn right, I'm running. And you should too.

Just like his so-called "Year of Mercy".

Another "mercy" salvo in the contrived, thematic putsch by modernists to undermine the Sacraments. Kick-off by Kasper (author of the book "Mercy"), relentless focus on "mercy" by Pope Francis and his talking heads, and now a whole year dedicated to the corrupt Kasperian interpretation of this holy virtue. The synod is being packed, with the transparent goal of mainstreaming "serene theology".

Do you sin boldly?

Once one knows the grace of God, all who sin are bold. So I do. However, like Paul I don't want to sin, but I am trapped in a body of sin. Thanks be to God for He has delivered me from this body of death. Rom 7:19-25

To “sin boldly” is all you need to know of Luther’s twisted state of mind.

Just like Paul's discourse. But then you skipped the other part of it didn't you.

Having said that, the words about sinning boldly still makes Luther look like a fool no matter what follows that part of the quote.

For one who rejects what scripture says about sin and man's nature, that too comes as no surprise.

“Running from what?”

From one subject to another every time you’re stymied.
