What’s amazing to me is that Marquette University is supposed to be a “Catholic” university.
It's amazing how many times this opening question opens their eyes to their own hypocrisy.

In December, Marquette relieved Professor John McAdams of his teaching and other faculty duties for blogging about the Abbate incident. Where a woman teaching assistant would not allow a student to discuss the Catholic position on same sex marriage.
Marquette University is in the process of firing tenured Professor John McAdams, a conservative because he reported on this incident in a non Marquette blog. So conservatives no longer have freedom to report what is going on at Catholic Universities.
Mark Belling discussed this locally and on the Rush Limbaugh show.
I had a friend that was willing to donate $30,000 to fund an ethics coarse at Marquette years ago under a different President and the Jesuit President refused the money.
It is time to stop donating to Catholic Universities that are not Catholic or are Catholic in name only.
In short, the students I talked to are pretty angry about this and other attempts to stifle thought and discussion from a Catholic perspective.
Meanwhile they are being forced to accept Muslim and anti-Christian viewpoints.
