I'm curious about the fine print on this agreement... most certainly the ISIS lawyers (
employed by ISIS) would have worked this out.
Would there be a time frame after release that these people would not be taken hostage again - how much time does $1700 buy?
$1700 sounds fairly low, given the ISIS budget. Perhaps the timeframe is 5 minutes. $1700 probably just covers the ISIS expense for the lawyers to write up the ransom agreement.
