Total Solar Eclipse of March 20

• The solar eclipse will happen on the “ecclesiastical new year.” In other words, the Hebrew calendar new year (1st of Nisan) begins March 20 at sunset, starting the Hebrew year 5775.
• The eclipse will be visible from Israel as a partial eclipse.
• The total portion of the eclipse ends at the north pole (see dark spot on animated images below).
• March 20 will be the Equinox. The eclipse occurs as the Sun rises at the north pole for the first time in six months.

Yup, and Jewish tradition says a lunar eclipse is a bad omen for the entire world, while a blood mean means trouble or significance for Israel.

I didn’t know about this and it is very interesting. We know “blood moons” are prophesied during the tribulation period after Jesus comes for us, but we also know there will be signs of the end prior.

Well, the four preceding occurrences coincided with specific, miraculous events favoring God's people and hence the well-being of the world. Islamic caliphate and the world unifying against Israel is already in process, will continue to metastasize, and certainly is not a benefit to Christians, Jews or the world. So unless there’s a change in the pattern, maybe it will be something else.

We are certainly in the last days and I expect that Christ's return will happen probably this century. But I have reason to believe it will be several decades before Jesus appears to take us and it all comes down here on earth. So what miraculous event could take place in the next two years that could have lasting benefits to Christians, Jews, and the world in general?

How about miraculous rebirth of freedom in America? This is one thing many others and I look for and would, IMO, require a series of unforeseen but welcome occurrences:

1) a spiritual awakening in America and a renewed love for and deeper understanding of the Bible as the Gospel of the grace of the Lord Jesus,

2) a reawakened love and understanding of the U.S. Constitution as the Rule of Law in America, the only legal bastion of freedom against tyranny and only authority of federal power and,

3) the subsequent dismantling of the unconstitutional part of the federal government (probably about 80%, about $3 trillion worth).

Any one of those things would be a major event, but why not all three? It would certainly be a huge series if occurances, but we have a huge God.

After the Isralites were forced out of the land of Israel by the Romans, another way of keeping their calendar had to be divised due to their inability to know the first day of the month by sighting the first sliver of the new moon from the land.

The new method of keeping the calendar became out of sync with the original calendar over time. When the Jews returned to the land of Israel in modern times, a society was formed to reestablish the original calendar even though the country of Israel still continues to use the calculated Rabinnical Calander to this day.

Well this year, both calendars align. That seems pretty significant to me, especially considering it's occuring during this event of the four blood moons occuring on four consecutive High Sabbath Feast days.

The Almighty has his ways...

Btw, according to some Biblcal scholars Yeshusa/Jesus was actually crucified on Passover (i.e., April 4 of this year - the first blood moon of 2015).

Jonathan Cahn, who I believe pastors a Messianic Jewish congregation in NJ sheds a lot of light on what has happened to the U.S.A. lately, is happening, and will happen in the near future. I am amazed that the judgment of God hasn’t already happened to America for just the slaughter of nearly 60 million innocent children in the womb; not to even mention phoney baloney separation of church and state, removal of God from our schools, etc.

Cahn started with his book a few years ago, “The Harbinger” which detailed how America was founded upon the Jewish Scriptures, but has recklessly abandoned its Founding. Now he has expanded upon that theme with his recent book, “The Mystery of the Shemitah.” (The Shemitah is the Sabbath Year which was to be observed every 7th year; and also the Year of Jubilee, the BIG Sabbath which came around every 50th year - which Israel abandoned prior to the Diaspora; and America NEVER observed). Cahn says that several great (financial) catastrophes and other events in America fell during a year that SHOULD HAVE been observed as a Shemitah; The Great Depression being one of them.

IMHO, he pulls his punch at the end when he gives a vague opinion as to what comes down next, from The Almighty. I believe it could very well be The Rapture. I base that opinion upon world events in regard to Israel. Israel is God’s Time Clock. If you want to know what time it is on God’s clock regarding End Times and eschatology, look at Israel. Let the reader of those 2 books form their own opinions.

I have seen negative remarks expressed on FR regarding Cahn and “The Harbinger” back when it was first published. That’s the beauty of what’s left of our American Freedoms. We all are still pretty much free to form and hold our own individual opinions. I expect similar in regard to “The Mystery of the Shemitah” as well.

IF a deal is reached with Iran our current President has 2 years to enforce it, then, IF another Democrat is elected President, that cretin has 4 Years to enforce it.

If after that time, a Republican is elected President, it will be in the 7th year and likely nullified.

So the 7 year peace treaty will end...
