About Me

I am originally from Los Angeles, California and currently reside in Orem, Utah. I am an entrepreneur for Eklect Enterprises and a student at Utah Valley University majoring in Software Engineering.

I have been a member of the church since 1991, and my parents were converts to the church in 1984. I served a full-time mission in the Colorado Denver North Mission from 2003-2005 where I earned multiple awards, including the Gold Award in the Gospel Scholarship Program.

After my mission service, I have held different auxiliary positions and callings in the church, from Nursery to Bishopric; I am currently the Elder’s Quorum teacher in his local ward. I Have been married to his wife Liz since 2009 and has two furry babies, Sophie and Saki...

This must be yet another version of 'Meet the Mormons'

From the introduction:

I am currently the Elder’s Quorum teacher in HIS local ward. I Have been married to HIS wife Liz since 2009 and has two FURRY babies, Sophie and Saki...

Uh...OK...so "Tony" at Mormon.org talks about being a teacher within the "Elder's Quorum" ... and in "his" (Elder's Quorum's?) "local ward" and then announces to the world that "I have been married to HIS wife Liz since 2009..."

Well, way to go, Tony!

Way to emulate Joseph Smith himself, who was married to at least 11 wives who were already married and whom remain married to those other men!
See:

* The LDS Church Addresses Joseph Smith’s Polygamy
* Tag: Mormon polygyny

Nothin' like following "the way" of "the 'prophet,'" eh?

And what's up with "furry" babies? Puppies?

I thought the men had multiple wives, I didn’t know it could go the other way, too.

By the way, Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected ....... but thanks anyway.

Agreed.

(Not a Mormon...tho descended from Mormons)

And, btw, Mormons would agree with what you said above.

So...instead ... I'd try something like:

I testify that Jesus' blood was powerful enough not only to atone for Adam's sin, but mine. I have his rich blood streak running over every part of my sinful body, my sinful mind, my sinful soul, my sinful spirit. I am drenched in His blood; saturated in it; bathed in it. It cleanses me entirely of all past sins, my present sins, and every sin I'll commit (or action I'll fail to responsibly commit) because I entrust that His blood is sufficient for me.
His blood,
His mercy,
His grace
...makes me "worthy"--tho the fact that He went to the cross for me shows my ultimate value.

Like any heir, I'm an heir by His death [or did you think you could become an heir & gain a "testimony" only by His life???] and by His ensuing gift to me...NOT an heir based upon...
...my works,
...my obedience,
...my self-promotional worthiness,
...my commandment-keeping,
...my bishop-graded temple recommend,
...my Word-of-wisdom keeping,
...my exaltation checklist,
...who I marry,
...if I marry,
...and all the other plural "My-s" I can ever list--as if my life was to center on... ...me
...or as if all my good works were primarily or unconsciously done to boomering back on my bootstraps to kick me into divinity...
...rather than simply to love the One I serve.

Mormonism indeed runs in my family blood...
What's vitally more of import is Jesus' blood...

He/she posts anti-Mormon stuff, multiple times a day, month after month, year after year.

Thanks. I couldn’t tell what they were doing.

I believe Mormons are wrong in their faith but I am not anti-Mormon. If they don’t bother me or innocent people, I will tolerate them.

Now I’ve got a completely different attitude towards the muzzies.

...who I marry, ???

Gay marriage seems to be in the news a lot lately. Would you be covered on that one too?

The very next time they ring my door bell, I am dispatching the two young fellows on bikes, white shirt, tie, bike helmets, back-packs full of literature, the whole 9 yards. When they call upon you, ask them the questions, OK?

Just to be fully prepared, you need to borrow a set of Joseph Smith eyeglasses from the BYU Museum. Yes! The Ummim and Thurim of the OT, which were lent to Joseph Smith for his translation work on the tablets.

When you're done reading the edifying literature these two young fellows leave with you, send me the glasses. Obviously, I'll need'em! I cannot make heads or furry tail of the young man's home life. Is Liz furry? Are the furry babies sired by the Elder? From his picture, I'd say he looks like friendly puppy himself .... perhaps just not furry. I am open to Mormon grammar, but need guidance here.

All I can say, is that anyone who preaches another gospel, read what the Holy Spirit, speaking through Paul, has to say about them.

Also, .......

Rev. 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Rev. 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

(Good catch)

9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Who I marry doesn't qualify me for living in the Presence of Heavenly Father forever.

The apostle Paul above indicates that who I marry can disqualify me from God's Kingdom.

What is nice to know -- and to emphasize -- is that even the early Corinthian church had former (saved) homosexuals in their midst.

Are you raging against this thread?

Are you an "anti" of anti-cultism?
