Soon after Muslim gunmen killed 12 people at Charlie Hebdo offices..., the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)—the... second largest inter-governmental organization after the United Nations—is again renewing calls for the United Nations to criminalize “blasphemy” against Islam, or what it more ecumenically calls, the “defamation of religions.”
Yet the OIC seems to miss one grand irony: if international laws would ban cartoons, books, and films on the basis that they defame Islam, they would also, by logical extension, have to ban the entire religion of Islam itself—the only religion whose core texts actively and unequivocally defame other religions, including by name.

Could you expand on that? While the Bible wasn’t down with Diana worship or Baal, those religions have either died out or have been absorbed into islam.

And let me take a wild guess how this might possibly fit in with the Net Neutrality theme and the move to make political speech illegal all occurring around the same time. Might they have another slot for Islam blasphemy but not Christian blaphemy? Why yes they probably do. Folks, this cannot be taken lightly in view of the pace and direction this president has been taking in the past few months. The left don’t comment on it because they want to slip this under the door. The LIVs certainly arent paying attention and don’t even realize what’s happening (yet they’re the ones that will call you racist, hater, and bigamist when that as nothing at all to do with the issue; they’re obviously just too stupid to understand it). The right is the only thing that stands in the way of evil at this point.

You don’t think various brands of Christianity ‘defame’ each other? Do Christians think they’re defamed by Judaism? Do Mormons defame Christians? Do you think attacks on Pharisees don’t defame Judaism?
Defamation isn’t a serious word, unless one small group gets to decide what it is.

Yet was written hundreds of years almost a millineum after Christ was crucified on the cross. And borrowed extensively from it. Thats how you create a counterfeit. And thats exactly what it is. The false word. Sounds like deception? Thats what Satan does. Tell me how many times Allah has appeared to them. None. Now tell me how many times has Jesus appeared to Muslims who wanted to know the truth? There are many documented cases of it.
