There is NO chance I will swim those polluted waters! There is a peace that passes all understanding when we know that we have eternal life, that we are God’s own. That’s not something I ever experienced as an RC...in fact, I’ve been told by some here that expressing such assurance is a sin of “presumption”. Imagine that! Believing God’s promise is a sin to some people!?
It is one thing to acknowledge the role of the Catholic church, both the Roman and EOs, in preserving the text of the Bible, but it is another thing to assert the authors were Catholic, and or that even being the instruments and stewards of Holy Writ renders them the infallible interpreters of it, or otherwise of possessing ensured perpetual superior veracity.
It is one thing to love your church, 💒, and another to ascribe an attribute of deity to it, above that which is written. 😦

I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin where there was nothing else to do from November to April except ski and skate.I taught young peple to dance on roller skates at the Elm Skate club in Elmhurst Illinois when I lived there for a few years....Hockey...probably, skating NEVER.
Yeah, it was those pesky Catholics....there was no one else there. They took the old testament books from the Jewish people and combined them with the new testament books which they collected, transcribed, interpreted, edited, and saved for 2,00 years so you'd have a bible which you claim they had nothing to do with.....sigh
