You may be able to play hockey better than I can, I never really liked the game...but in your wildest dreams you could never outskate me, neither on ice nor roller skates.We had a lakeside home in Pewaukee Wisconsin from the time I was a sophomore in high school until I left to get married. I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin where there was nothing else to do from November to April except ski and skate.I taught young peple to dance on roller skates at the Elm Skate club in Elmhurst Illinois when I lived there for a few years....Hockey...probably, skating NEVER.

I was born and raised in North Dakota. Instead of November to April, it was OCT to April. We got a jump on you. Hockey is a manly sport. I took great pleasure in running people into the boards. I skated a few months ago at Mall of Asia. I could still pick em up and lay em down. I saw people recording my exploits :-)

Elmhurst, Illinois huh? Horror of horrors. How dare you even live in the same state as my beloved Chicago Blackhawks :-) I have to admit, I started out as a figure skater, but went on to bigger and better things, by playing hockey. Kind of like, I started out as a catholic, and then went on to bigger and better things, and became an evangelical. No swimming the Tiber for me :-)

I was reared in a quasi Catholic home, without my permission ... and sprinkled without my permission and did various and sundry actions without any knowledge of what I was doing nor instruction whether it was good or bad ... just ... made to do it
