You just keep sacrificing the defeated Christ you serve who continually bleeds on some altar. I’ll continue to serve the risen triumphant King who sits on the throne of God having completed His sacrifice and now awaits His triumphal return.

“I’ll continue to serve the risen triumphant King who sits on the throne of God having completed His sacrifice and now awaits His triumphal return.”

Your posts show you don’t do that.

Your current tagline is "For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus" (part of 1 Corinthians 2:2, apparently ESV). The phrase continues, "...except Jesus Christ and him crucified." I noticed the omission before, but it's especially relevant to this post.

I also do not believe that the crucified Jesus Christ was "defeated," or else how should I understand these passages:

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:17-18)

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. (1 Corinthians 1:23-24)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (Galatians 6:14)
