What is inspired Word of God?
The Protestant Church in contrary to the Roman Catholic Theology has accepted as Holy Scripture 66 books of the Bible. The collection of ancient Jewish scriptures generally known as Apocrypha (Latin: hidden books) (1 Esdras, 2 Esdras, Tobit, Judith, Additions to the Book of Esther, The Wisdom of Solomon, Eccestiasticus, Baruch, The letter of Jeremiah, The prayer of Azariah and the Song of the Three Young Men, Suzanna, Bel and the Dragon, The Prayer of Manasseh, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees), have been rejected as divinely inspired by the Protestant church and Jewish tradition.
The following are the main reasons why the Protestants have rejected them as inspired Word of God:
· They were not used by Jesus or first century church;
· They were never quoted as Scripture, due to never being part of the Jewish canonical of Holy Scriptures.
· They were not declared authoritative until the 16th century with the Council of Trent in A. D. 1546.
PLUS, they contradict themselves and have historical errors within their pages...
