I read a book on this once. I really am attracted to the Eastern side of the Church. I can’t think of the name of it now, but it was on mysticism.

I wonder if the book was, The Way of the Pilgrim? About the travels And spiritual adventures of a Russian Pilgrim who traveled the roads of Russia continuously reciting the Jesus prayer. It’s a great book!

I do believe it was. It was part of a 4 part series. One was about Kabbalah, one Hindu could have been Islam or even Zoroastrianism and Buddhist? I remember reading The Way of the Pilgrim, but I don’t think I read the other three all the way through. Which makes me wonder if I still have them.

:’) humility and hope... especially when life can be so scary... that was the prayer that was heard.
