I love Downtown Abbey. It’s a wonderful series. I haven’t missed an episode. And I have the first four seasons on DVD.
It’s a great series, and I think this will probably be the last season. It will probably bring us to the start of WWII, but times are already changing in England at that point and WWII finishes it.
Great writing and a lot of moral value. But it’s not saccharine... I love the way the author shows the evil, snake-like Thomas always coming out on top - a truly Catholic story - because the Devil always looks after his own.
