POLITICO has run a piece citing various claims that President Obama is a practicing Christian of some sort. Nice try. But the article is entirely unconvincing.
Obama isnt prevented from going to a Christian church and doesnt cite security reasons for not attending. Instead, he worries that his presence detracts from other worshippers experience, the publication said. We are told he reads scripture and prays in private.
In 2008, when he first ran for president, the Obama campaign insisted he was a committed Christian. Glenn Greenwald, who later became NSA defector Edward Snowdens mouthpiece, found Obamas claim so alarming that he wrote an article for Salon about it. Greenwald, whose anti-American outlook includes Muslim sympathies, was apparently deeply concerned that Obama could, in fact, be a committed Christian.
We now understand that Obamas Christian claim was as phony as his promise, If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.
POLITICO reports that Obama has attended Sunday services only occasionally, visiting a patchwork of congregations 19 times in all since taking office, according to a POLITICO analysis of White House pool reports. Further down in the story we learn that In all, Obama has gone to services on about 6 percent of the Sundays of his presidency and just once on Christmas Day, in 2011, which also happened to be a Sunday.(continued)

He doesn’t go to Christian churches because he is a muslim.
5 times a day.
Facing Mecca.
Only a supreme malignant narcissist would entertain the possibility that his mere presence would distract people fro worshiping GOD.
Yeah right, tell me another one... Like how he was concerned the other day when he wanted to play golf and some couple had to change their plans at the last minute on where they were going to hold their wedding./p>
Indeed.
No Christian would put
Jesus under a blanket at Notre Dame.
There’s no question that Obama is a Muslim.
He was born a Muslim, had a Muslim father and stepfather, attended school and mosque as a Muslim, and there is no evidence that he ever left his boyhood religion—which would have brought out a fatwa against him demanding his death, since Muslims are not allowed to leave.
There is no evidence that he was ever baptized. He seldom or never attends church except for an occasional photo-op.
The “church” he belonged to in Chicago was run by a Black Muslim, admitted Muslims as members, and did not require members to be baptized.
His family never observes Christmas, but they do observe the Muslim holidays.
And a lot more—including his habit of siding with our Muslim enemies.
He doesn't like the competition
yep! ;-)
“Only a supreme malignant narcissist would entertain the possibility that his mere presence would distract people fro worshiping GOD.”
And that’s not really his reason, it’s just his excuse that we peasants might understand without a lot of explaining and re-explaining.
What an arrogant PUTZ.
BRAVO JUDOS and Bingo!!
A narcissist is his own church.
Obama’s former church which he dropped like a ticking grenade after it became public was anything but Christian. It was a socialist/Marxist reinvention of Christianity that seldom if ever discussed the Bible. Muslims were also allowed to join. In fact, the church bulletin at least on one occasion contained an editorial written by the leader of Hamas.
If anyone thinks Obama was really a Christian they should read this article as to the explanation of why Obama attended Jeremiah Wright’s church - political purposes / activism:
From the article:
“Klein also said Wright told him he made it comfortable for Obama to accept Christianity without having renounce his Islamic background, which Klein said he has on tape.
(Here is Ed Klein on Hannity talking about his interview with Rev. Jeremiah Wright.)
Klein spoke more on this in a separate interview with NewsMax:
Klein says Obama originally sought out Wright to discuss community activism.
Quickly the conversations turned from picking up garbage on the street and getting streetlights put up on street corners to political matters and religious matters, Klein says. And the Rev. Wright turned into really a substitute father figure, who guided Obama in the two major areas of his life.
The first area was Obamas identity just who was he?
Obama was steeped in Islam but knew nothing about Christianity, Klein says.
Klein asked Wright if he converted Obama from being a Muslim into a Christian.
He said, I dont know about that. but I can tell you that I made it easy for him to come to an understanding of who Jesus Christ is and not feel that he was turning his back on his Islamic friends and his Islamic traditions and his understanding of Islam, Klein says.
The second area was Obamas political philosophy. Wright introduced Obama to Black Liberation theology.”
Even the sound of his voice makes me ill. i have a physical reaction. it’s weird.
What is unconvincing about Obama and his faith, is that he seems clueless about it.
Almost every time he speaks of Christianity, or speaks as a Christian, Christians just end up scratching their heads and looking at each other in puzzlement.
But that’s true of the Pope as well.
