Interesting - The author admits inexperience in the area of matrimony, and then likens himself to a swimming coach, instructing the swimmer from a coaches perspective. I find this to be a false analogy.

Did not every good swimming coach once have at least a moderately successful run as a swimmer himself?

Further down - Is it true that the world is “governed by a fallen angel”? I was not aware of that, and it seems contrary to the central teachings of the Church.

Yes, the devil has control over the modern world....many can see that in what is happening.

God has complete control of heaven and hell.

The priest was the swimmer. Someone could see his mistakes from outside the pool — the swim coach. Makes sense to me.

Please look the at the entire quote again:
