No, it is not. Micah 4 is the prophesy of the restoration of Zion. It begins in verse 1 "In the last days" which is when the nation of Israel is restored and brought back to God. Anyone who reads the entirety of Micah 4 can see that it is talking about Jerusalem NOT Mary. Is Mary also going to have "horns of iron" or "hooves of bronze" or "break to pieces many nations"?
Micah 4:13 Rise and thresh, Daughter Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hooves of bronze, and you will break to pieces many nations.
The attempts by Catholics to inject Mary into something that clearly is not there is stunning to say the least.
They say they do not do that but, my word, it is so evident in things they do and say. When you can find sites which only deal with prayers to Mary and others which deal with prayers to dead people, it is very evident to people who have not been “brainwashed.”. Why do they do it? Even on that catholic channel, I have come across prayers to her and so called saints. Surely they are smart enough to read the Bible to find out what It says instead of listening to men tell them what to think and believe. You know I have noticed something on different shows? People have crosses and objects of Mary in their homes but I have seen very few Bibles. Why is that? I find it very odd.
This is know in theology as a "type": the Old Testament prophet had a vague premonition of the rise of the Holy Catholic Church but cast it into what he could relate to: the fortunes of Israel, Jerusalem, etc. Israel of the Old Testament is a type of both Mary and the Church.
