Yet they don't see that the love they claim they have for Mary belongs to Christ. It's nothing short of blasphemy.

so, if I love my Father a lot, I don't have enough love left over for my Mother....please...kind of a childish analogy....at best

Do you fall down on your knees before your dad?

Do you believe the following? Substitute your dad's name in place of Mary's. You should be able to see the difference.

If you persevere until death in true devotion to Mary, you salvation is certain. St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

He who is faithful in the service of Mary will certainly be saved . . .There is no one, however wicked, whom Mary does not save by her intercession when she wishes . . . He who has recourse to Mary shall be saved. St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

However great a sinner may have been, if he shows himself devout to Mary he will never perish. St. Hilary of Poitiers

Mary was made Mother of God to obtain salvation for many who, on account of their wicked lives, could not be saved according to the rigor of Divine justice, but might be saved with the help of her sweet mercy and powerful intercession. St. John Chrysostom

This last one of the cart blanch card....ask Mary whatever you want and God has to give it to you....utter blasphemy.

If I love Mary, I am certain of perseverance, and I shall obtain whatever I wish from God. St. John Berchmans

All those who seek Mary's protection will be saved for all eternity. Pope Benedict XV

ENOUGH???

Bernadine: …all gifts, all virtues, and all graces are dispensed by the hands of Mary to whomsoever, when, and as she pleases. O Lady, since thou art the dispenser of all graces, and since the grace of salvation can ONLY come through thy hands, OUR SALVATION DEPENDS ON THEE.

Bonaventure: …the gates of heaven will open to all who confide in the protection of Mary. Blessed are they who know thee, O Mother of God, for the knowledge of THEE is the high road to everlasting life, and the publication of thy virtues is the way of ETERNAL SALVATION. Give ear, O ye nations; and all you who desire heaven , serve, honor Mary, and certainly you will find ETERNAL LIFE.

Ephem: …devotion to the divine Mother…is the unlocking of the heavenly Jerusalem.

Blosius: To the, O Lady, are committed the KEYS and the treasures of the kingdom of Heaven.

Ambrose: …constantly pray ‘Open to us, O Mary, the gates of paradise, since thou hast its KEYS.

Fulgetius: …by Mary God descended from Heaven into the world, that by HER man might ascend from earth to Heaven.

Athanasius: …And, thou, O Lady, wast filled with grace, that thou mightiest be the way of our SALVATION and the means of ascent to the heavenly Kingdom.

Richard of Laurence: Mary, in fine, is the mistress of heaven; for there she commands as she wills, and ADMITS whom she wills.

Guerric: …he who serves Mary and for whom she intercedes, is as CERTAIN of heaven as if he were already there…and those who DO NOT serve Mary will NOT BE SAVED.

Anselm: It suffices, O Lady, that thou willest it, and our SALVATION is certain.

Antoninus: …souls protected by Mary, and on which she casts her eyes, are NECESSARILY JUSTIFIED AND SAVED.

>>so, if I love my Father a lot, I don't have enough love left over for my Mother.<<

Again, "man's wisdom" types of examples are really lame. Do you express love to your children or father the same way that you do your spouse? The love your spouse deserves is the same as the love you give your father or mother? God says "do not give my glory to another".
