Therefore, the only answer, based upon what is written, is that Holy Spirit is the only teacher who can truly explain what has been written, but He needs the appropriate spirit to feel welcome enough to share His Wisdom.
Without that appropriate spirit and the Holy Spirit's teaching, pardon my babble, but they're just words whose meanings change with time, generation by generation.
So, I guess that's why people tend to get things wrong, such as arguing about rich and poor referring to physical wealth, instead of being about one's spirit, and then act accordingly, while being oblivious to it at the same time?
Please forgive me and my ignorance if I just watch the War Between the Denominations from the sidelines and ask an occasional question or two along the way.
The war(s) between the denominations is mostly feckless ‘gotcha.’
All of the organized denominations are chock full of error, as witnessed by Yeshua’s letters to the seven churches. Only the church at Philadelphia was praised for retaining the first principles, and promised to be protected from Satan’s great tribulation.
