The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not mans standard.

Mrs. R2z just texted me from out-of-State and many miles away:
“I think it’s easier birthing babies than watching your baby birth babies.”

Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, I have never eaten meat that I knew was offered to an idol and it is impossible to eat meat without consuming some blood....maybe cooked dry, but blood nevertheless.

I think its that the first no one is saved outside the church was infallible but later when they said that anybody can be saved it must have been more infallibler. the Catholic church has NEVER, nor could they, rescind an infallible proclamation.

That’s odd because I have read comments which state just that. Imagine that.

FRoman catholics have posted to me that I'm not a Christian. Cannot be, unless a member of the RCC cult. all who follow Christ are Christians and Catholics are not a cult.

TC I posted that a while back to another poster and do not remember the context into which my comment should be understood. I’d need to go back and follow that particular conversation.
By itself, I don’t recall what I may have meant by that post to that FReeper.
(Now, I’ve rehearsed my testimony to a House committee of some sort.)

prayed through Mary and the saints...yes Thanks for clarifying that you DO pray to dead people. I realize that "through" is a much harder word to spell than "to" but give it a try....we pray through......not to
see how easy english 101 is??

IOW, that's your own personal interpretation at work there. And how is your personal interpretation better than anyone else's and how does that give you the capability to judge that others are not fully accepting or practicing Christ's teachings?asks the person who's entire religious life is based on her own personal interpretation

So that makes her the mother of Jesus, not the mother of God. OH NO, do you mean that Jesus wasn't God??????

The Judgment seat of Christ would make an awesome thread.

It does not matter how we put it. They refuse to hear it and they refuse to agree to disagree. I am just glad I know it. it matters not how often you deny the truth...it is still the truth

Cherry picking parts of sentences to make someone look bad isn’t looked upon favorably by the RM.
I *gave up* on Catholicism shortly after I got saved and my eyes were opened to the truth found in Scripture.
I’ve learned more than enough in the past few years on this board, to convince me that Catholicism does not have all the answers.
When it sticks to Scripture, it generally is likely to get something right.
Otherwise, its off the wall in a serious way.

That was pretty obvious, wasn’t it?
And a pretty lame attempt as character assassination.

Your comment:
“John 2:6-10. Read the Holy Gospel every once in a while and you, too, will become Catholic and taste peace.”
The words after the snark: “You too, will become Catholic and taste peace”
Stating that a poster will become a part of a particular belief system is mindreading, which is making it personal.
Also, your quoted sentence above could be seen as if the words following John 2:6-10 are from that area of the Bible and they are not.

I don't know how to ping anyone other than the person who wrote the post that I am answering.so, sorry about that You're class of 98, which makes you having been on this forum for SIXTEEN years and you claim that you haven't yet figured out how to ping more than one person at a time?????
Forgive me for being incredulous.....
In the event that this is actually the case, in the *To* field is the comment "(use semi-colons to separate multiple recipients)".
It's self-explanatory from there.
Type in a ; and then add the next name and voila, you have multiple recipients.

LOL. We do not need the catholic church for anything. The Bible has it all. you need the Catholic church to even have the bible and in reality, she is the only true source of interpretation of that Bible....no one else can do it CORRECTLY.
