That can be reason to assume that Mary had other children.

That also brings out another question, many people assume that the apostles just stayed right there in Jerusalem but this indicates they were not there, so they were most likely out preaching the gospel.

The word “brother” was used to connote all cousins and others who held the Catholic belief.
