This Catholic says that except for a few exceptions, and we already know most of those, the rest of the Bishops/Archbishops/Cardinals are a bunch of left wing weenies. Many of them do not even adhere to the doctrines of the Catholic Church. Think Wuerl, think Dolan, think O’Malley, the latter of whom disgraced himself last Sunday on 60 Minutes. They are American versions of German Cardinal Kasper.

Do you think that your characterization of these Church leaders as "a bunch of left wing weenies" might violate Canon 212?:

ANY CATHOLIC that votes for a democrat has renigged on the right to call themselves Catholic. You absolutely can not be for abortion and be a Catholic at the same time, and this includes the laity and clergy. Hypocrites all!

No other issues morally trump issues of intrinsic evil such as racism and abortion — not immigration, poverty or war. Today a Catholic voter who has learned the facts about the Party of Death, and who votes for any Democrat, necessarily has the intent to support abortion and RETA, and formally cooperates in grave evil, committing a mortal sin. Pope JP II fought against the "Culture of Death" in word and deed until his dying breath. Can anyone claim that bishops who lend their support to a political party which promotes death and perversion as a core tenet remain in communion with Christ and His Church?

Regarding Canon 212, it can be reasonably argued that the common good and the dignity of persons (and most importantly, the right to life) may be more effectively defended with bluntness than with obsequiousness. If a pastor molests an altar boy, he is a pervert, and if a pastor supports socialists, he is a socialist (aka left wing weenie). Truth is truth.
