***Well, according to some, Jesus wasn’t only married, he was a polygamist.***

But, but I heard it on good authority (the liberal press) that Jesus was gay! Or he really did not exist at all!
Or that he took mushroom drugs! Or that he ran off to Persia!

OH, my brain is strained!

Knowing that his mission was to be crucified, he would not have put a wife and children through that cruelty. It was bad enough that his mother had to watch.

I cant believe anyone takes this Jacobovici ‘naked archeologist’ nut seriously, he also claimed to have found Jesus’ burial coffin a few years ago and was completely discredited and now here he is back again with tired old heresies to sell another book and with documentary DVD package no doubt to follow,

I wonder if these same people have ever written any “breaking news stories” about mohammad and islam? Or do they just stick with the safe targets?

I actually find it more interesting as to why the media likes to lapdog up these kinds of stories? its like they know it will be read with some blasphemous salacious national enquirer kind of popularity, and then they get to demean Jesus and his followers at the same time, its a twofer.

There is absolutely zero evidence from early Christianity that Jesus was married

But there is some evidence of descendents of the blood relatives of Jesus Desposyni; The Direct Descendants of Christ

Thank you for the link “Review of $imcha’s latest work of fiction.” Two brief excerpts:

“First things first: Mr. Jacobovici’s ‘The Lost Gospel’ is neither “lost” nor a “gospel”. Scholars have known about and have studied the Syriac version of Joseph and Aseneth, located in the British Museum, for a very long time. . .”

“Second: . . . The story of Joseph and Aseneth is a well-known, ancient apocryphal expansion of the biblical account of the patriarch Joseph’s marriage to Aseneth, the daughter of the Egyptian Priest of On (Heliopolis).”

Fascinating explanation, worth the time to read.

Quote-Every Christmas and Easter “they” have to try to disprove the reasons for...well, Christmas and Easter.

Scripture disproves christmas and easter.. but those are traditions from Rome that will not die without Rome going away.

All bets are off if the world starts using a calendar named after Mohammad, and not some Pope, like it does today.

-— Scripture disproves christmas and easter -—

The Incarnation and Resurrection aren’t recorded in Scripture?

Are you talking about the dates that these feasts are celebrated on?

Or are you referring to the Easter bunny?

The dates these are celebrated..

We can actually know what day the Savior was born..
And it is detailed in Revelation 12.

And we know what day He laid His life down- 14th day of the first month of our Heavenly Father’s calendar- Feast of Passover.

There is a debate when the year ‘begins’.. some observed passover this year in March.. most in April..

The folks who observed Passover in gregorian April observed it on a Monday. It meant that ‘wednesday’ was resurrection day this year.

It also made ‘Wednesday’ the ‘first day of the week’ after the Sabbath on the 15th this year, if scripture is believed.

That makes no sense on the pope gregory calendar but with the scriptural calendar, it makes sense.
It links the Old Testament with the New Testament and the appointed times He gave Israel were not just spiritually fulfilled, but Literally, fulfilled by the Messiah..
The Word became flesh and tabernacled among us..and did it on His calendar, not the world’s...

The seven day week on the world’s calendar is not the same seven day week in Scripture.. but it would be a shock to one to try to observe the calendar in scripture.

Even Jews have their own pope appointed sabbath that they will work around when it conflicts with the Feasts in Scripture..

Prophectic..

this is the danger when "tradition" is allowed to become belief.

there are some denominations that, given time, will make this dogma.

The Church deliberately severed the calendar connection between Easter and Passover.

How is the date Easter calculated?

I choose to follow scripture and since He led me away from church, the world started making more sense.

And when comparing the genuine holy days with the counterfeits, it sort of explains why there is a satanic Trinity in revelation 13 that break the first four commandments and cause others to do the same..

Times and laws have changed... and Christendom has done it..

one could say a whole new savior has been created- a Greco Roman Latin version that is a counterfeit of the genuine Messiah of Israel.

Different birthday, different death date, different resurrection day and different sabbath.. all with a greco roman latin bent supposedly for the Hebrew Savior.

And mother and daughters can’t see it..

Again, prophetic.

Why is this question so much more interesting to people than whether Jesus rose from the dead?

What will their next theme be? That Jesus was homosexual? or a polygamist? or Muslim?

I mean, really!
