Black Pope: "There can be more Christian Love in An Irregular Pair,...
The Eponymous Flower ^ | Thursday, October 9, 2014 | Giacomo Galeazzi of Vatican Insider

(Rome) Giacomo Galeazzi of Vatican Insider conducted an interview with Father Adolfo Nicolas, Superior General of the approximately 18,000 Jesuits worldwide. The General of the Jesuits provost is also called "Black Pope" because of the contrast to the white robe of the Pope, while the Jesuits have no habit, but wear the cassock of secular priests. At least that's the theory. But above all, for a fourth vow, the Jesuits owe allegiance to the Pope. "There can be a more Christian love in an irregular pair, than in one that was married in the Church," Nicolas said at the beginning of the interview. Katholisches.info documented the full interview with the Superior General of the Jesuit order, which one of the three synod is participating as a representative of the Catholic Order of the Synod.

Will there be an "aggiornamento" of family morality?

The free and open discussion is towards change, towards pastoral adaptation to the changing reality of our time. This is of an epoch-making character, because there are forces in these years that have attempted to return the Church to before the great season of the Council.

And Communion for the divorced and remarried?

You can not stop them from discussing this in the Synod, as some would like to stop them. The bishops were not summoned to reinforce abstract ideas with the blows of the doctrine, but to seek solutions to specific questions. Significantly, the Pope has participated and many Synod Fathers in their addresses regarding texts of the Council. Here the Church of hearing is heeding the expression of the Spirit, which was hoped for by Cardinal Martini until the end of his life.

The Conservatives say that the doctrine is in danger ...

It is wrong to make absolutes. Take the case of illegitimate partnerships. It's not like that with a lack of everything is bad. On the contrary, there is something good, where you can not hurt your neighbor. Francis has stressed: "We are all sinners." Life is to be supplied on all fields. Our task is to bring the people of grace, not dismiss them with provisions. For us Jesuits, it is daily practice. The Inquisition one knew exactly this. In what way?

Our founder, St. Ignatius underwent an examination by the Inquisition a total of eight times, after he had spoken of listening to the Spirit. Then, as now, the Spirit comes to us again, because He comes from God, but not the rules and norms which, however, are the work of man. The morality of the family and sexuality need kindness and brotherhood. It is not to split it, but to harmonize. You can not evangelize the people, by beating them with the Gospel. Only the decision to focus on Christ, will keep us from fruitless disputes, to abstract ideological disputes. Defects and imperfections do not invalidate the whole of the evolution of the family in society in recent decades. If there is something negative, it does not mean that everything is negative.

Do these imbeciles not realize that their vision of a church liberated from sexual morality has already been realized in the various mainstream protestant denominations of North America and Europe? And such protestant sects have lost members at an even faster rate than the Catholic Church?

Or may they do realize it, and destruction is their goal.

It’s part of the deal they made. The Church drops its social conservatism, and in return the kingdom of heaven will be realized on earth. Some people may have to die, of course, but one must breaka few eggs to make an omelette.

Here the Church of hearing is heeding the expression of the Spirit.

Which spirit?

"St. Ignatius has a key meditation in the Spiritual Exercises on what he calls the Two Standards. The Two Standards correspond to the two leaders in the world who are drawing people to follow them. One leader is Jesus Christ, who inspires believing Christians to dedicate themselves to the extension of His kingdom throughout the world. The other leader is Satan, who is trying to seduce people to follow him, for the extension of his demonic kingdom, which, in the words of St. Augustine, is the City of Man, which is in constant conflict with the kingdom of Christ. The devil knows that you get nowhere alone; you inspire others to follow you. Then you train your followers and disciples and they will carry on your work. The devil trains his followers to seduce not just people or cities, but whole nations."

This opportunity to water down clear Biblical precepts is disturbing.

I’ll wait for the formal results before coming unglued.

You don’t endorse condemned behavior just because the SOME relationships may be more mutually supportive than SOME heterosexual married couples.

There are atheists who are more charitable than some Christians.

That doesn’t mean Church leaders should start endorsing atheism!

As a Catholic, I have no doubt that the Jesuits are idiots. They have lost their way.

Fifty years ago, any Catholic high-schooler—especially in a Jesuit high school, would have been embarrassed to produce inane ramblings of this sort. Most would have laughed out loud.

The Jesuits have been the leaders in clerical sodomy. They have been defiant about honoring pro-aborts at their high schools and colleges, long after even liberal Catholic institutions have mostly stopped doing so.

Obviously the putrefaction has reached the very top—and has descended from the very top.

They are dying. In 2018, every Jesuit in Spain will reach the age of 75, and the Jesuits will go out with a whimper.

The Jesuits have always had problems with the rest of the world, but usually it was because they were considered TOO orthodox. Not anymore.

That said, they’re being encouraged by the behavior of the person at the top. There are a lot of really good, devout Jesuits, and I seriously feel sorry for them, because this pope has declared open season on orthodox anything.

Discipline and education is what I always believed the Jesuits were about. Those characteristics, I think, precludes any major individual or independent action without a consultation at least with their boss.

If their boss says, go and sin some more, what’s an individual Jesuit to do except follow Orders?

If the Jesuit is a good Jesuit, that is.

Hmmm

Ok.

In recent decades(?) it seemed to me they were often academic types...and if they could put forth their argument, then, well, whatever... i'll just trail off into vagueness... :^')

What in the wide world of sports is going on in the Jesuit order? I can only imagine what Gonzaga and Loyola would have to say.
