Why? seriously we quote scripture to you all the time and you claim literal words are figurative or metaphor.
Mat_26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it; and he gave to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Mar_14:22 And as they were eating, he took bread, and when he had blessed, he brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take ye: this is my body.
Luk_22:19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1Co_11:24 and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Joh_6:51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
Joh_6:53 Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have not life in yourselves.
There you have Jesus own words and Paul reiterating them.
I hope nobody got a vein between their teeth. It’s very unpleasant.
There’s no way Jesus was drinking or eating ‘His own’ blood and body at the “Pass-over” Meal......
Jesus had not yet died ....sheesh... you guys have that event so screwed up.... Jesus was “the Lamb of God”....just as John announced.....and just as the Israelites were ‘passed-over’ with the blood on their doorposts. When we are In Chirst so too are we.
Jesus was showing He would soon be the ultimate sacrifice.
Every single protestant reply to my post #774 prove my point 100%
Did Jesus eat His own flesh and drink His own blood?
Yeah; that IS a problem; isn't it...
