Do you somehow believe that other religions can lay claim to Truth and that there is some sort of equivalence here between them and Catholics?

Actually, other religions or philosophies can lay claim to some Truth, (Acts 17:28) but the status of a truth claim is determined in the light of the wholly inspired and assured word of God, the Scriptures.

And as i have said before, one would have a hard time in Bible times explaining kneeling before a statue and praising the entity it represented in the unseen world, and as having Divine powers and glory, and making offerings and beseeching such for Heavenly help, directly accessed by mental prayer.

Moses, put down those rocks! I was only engaging in hyper dulia, not adoring her. Can't you tell the difference?

Mary herself would never pray to anyone else (angels) but the Lord, nor did she in Scripture.

Well you are partially correct...all of the above are found in scriptures but are always negative examples.
