He can’t be an anti-pope or apostate. The pope is infallible according to Vatican Council I, right?

A true pope is infallible when teaching faith and morals...either ex cathedra or through the ordinary and universal magisterium.

Infallibility refers to doctrine and dogma pronounced with the Magisterium or from the chair (ex cathedra.)

It’s not everything the Pope does.
