Also, according to Scripture, those New Moons began months. And they started the weekly counts to the Sabbaths and Feasts.

Too bad that weeks do not accurately track new moons; with the Moon taking 27.32 days to complete and orbit.

The Muslims do a MUCH better job at figuring THIS out.

The New Moon started a Month- that is why the Hebrew word for month and new moon is the same thing.. (chodesh, hodesh)

Ezekiel 46:1
Day 1 of months.New moon day
2-7. Work days
8. Sabbath
9-14. Work days
15. Sabbath- feast of unelavened bread and tabernacles start on this day
16-21. Work days
22. Sabbath- this was the first sabbath after 6 days of manna in exodus
23-28. Work days
29. Sabbath

It is a four week cycle that begins with every new moon. And it is why we can see that new moons could be predicted before they occurred, like with David and Saul. and why the continuous seven days through time is actually unscriptural..

Those new moons is why the battle of Jericho didn’t violate the sabbath commandment.
According to the book of Jasher, referenced in Holy Scripture,
The battle march began on a new moon and ended on the 7th day of the month- a day before their weekly Sabbath.

That cannot be done with your pope Gregory sabbath..or the Julian.. or the Jewish calculated calendars..

If scripture is our guide, The Messiah was born on a New Moon Day(revelation 12)
Following the template in Ezekiel,
That makes Him being circumscised on a Sabbath.(8th day)
Dedicated to the temple on a Sabbath.(40 days after his mother’s purification)
Baptized on a new Moon.(His 30th birthday)

Add those to His death on a Feast, burial and rest on a Feast (Passover)and High Sabbath (unleavened bread- 15th) and His Resurrection on a Feast. (First fruits-16)

That pretty much sums up His major life events recorded in scripture and they follow Torah,

Man, somebody thought those new moons, sabbaths and feasts had significance. Maybe that is why Israel was supposed to observe them. they pointed to the future King and the Kingdom...

And I have been observing this calendar and there is at least 29 days in each month, not 27 days like you note with Muslims.. of one counts, you never end with 27.. there are either 29 or 30 days on His calendar.. never 28, never 31..

The muslims do at least seek out the moon as their timepiece.
So does Israel for two months- the month with passover and the month with tabernacles- their feast months...

Funny, Israel tries to observe scripture for at least a couple months.. it isn’t surprising they are off by a month or two with their celebrations..

But that is why scripture says He ordained the stars.. everything up there is for us.. may be just pretty lights but they tell a story... and contains a plan..

The world is welcome to ignore the moon and stars for timekeeping.. sun worship is not new.,. It is very, very old.. His scripture says new moons and Sabbaths will be around for awhile so it may not be a good strategy to poo poo them(Isaiah 66)

Thor’s day is a sexier name than the first day, we must admit.

One points to Thor.. one points to the First day...

If you can tell me what scripture says happened on thor’s day, I would confess that the world system is the standard..

If we can find something, anything that happened on the first day, would anyone confess that the world system, although the standard, is just a counterfeit?

Maybe conformity means something different to different people.. and that is why there are hundreds of daughters who claim to be the truth.. or at least not their mother...
