Yes, MillStone bait. God is the only judge. If we all perish in hell for a sin, regardless of the level, then all of us meateaters will perish as well. This is why there is an Old Testament and a New Testament, for Christ died for our sin. Our judgement will come based on our repentance.

Osteen sounds like a freak.

I have thought that from the first time I saw him. He does not teach Biblical principles just like some others. I do not understand why people think he is so great.

I heard him and his wife interviewed once few years bacj. The interviewer asked them how their fame and success had changed their lives. Osteen sat there in a $3000 Armani suit, his wife at his side wearing what looked like a 6 carat diamond ring on her finger and with a straight face actually said: “I don’t think our success has changed us at all”.

Never had much use for Osteen. He is becoming much bolder in his blasphemous theology. Very sad. God will deal with him justly as he will me. I won’t judge his soul eternally, that is reserved for God. But I will make judgment about his theology: he is tragically wrong and he needs to reform it. I shudder to think that I may have led someone down the wrong path to their eternity. That is a very sobering thought.

I heard him and his wife interviewed once few years back. The interviewer asked them how their fame and success had changed their lives. Osteen sat there in a $3000 Armani suit, his wife at his side wearing what looked like a 6 carat diamond ring on her finger and with a straight face actually said: I dont think our success has changed us at all. Yep, just another modern day Jimmy and Tammy Baker (and eventually, like Jim, he will probably be caught in bed with another women...or boy). They are nothing more than faux Christians who use the faith to get rich. I like to think there is special place in Hell reserved for their ilk. Osteen licks his finger and takes a public opinion poll to see what the "rock hard" tenants of his faith will be this week before he releases some pseudo-christian feel good pap in the guise of sermon.

I believe that homosexuality is against God's law and is therefore a sin, but I also believe that ANY sin (even murder) can be forgiven if one truly repents, asks forgiveness, and stops performing the sinful act. God will forgive the person and welcome him/her into the Kingdom. On the other hand, if they continue in their sinful behavior, they will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

When religion gets too hard make your own, make yourself God and judge of mankind.
It really is in our nature to try to control what we can’t control. In religion we often think that our will is or should be God’s Will.
We want God to be a big sugar daddy in the sky who does our bidding just because we pray, especially if we’ve already made millions off of “God”. Repentance can be overlooked if we justify to ourselves that we’re really nice.

What difference does the date make? He said it. He does not teach the Bible. Why would you defend statements like these?

I still can't get the attraction of this guy. He has those gigantic crowds filling up the Summit church, yet like all Universalists, he says nothing particularly compelling. You'd think people would tire of such a "whatever" message and move on.
