We'll see if he posts something tonight.
I looked at comments on the post a while ago and he was getting a lot of threats from homosexuals.
So while I think he may have pulled the blog post because of the tenor of the comments, it is entirely possible that one of Wuerl's squishy friends may have had something to do with it.
I predict he will stay.
I am shocked that the attacks from the gay agenda crowd was that bad.
Things are not looking good for this country.
Or Wuerl himself.
The whole thing got too close to the issue of Nancy Pelosi’s reception of Communion, is what I suspect. No way is Wuerl going to allow discussion of that.
Msgr. Pope has control over the comments. No need to pull the article on that account.
No doubt about it. Wuerl forced Pope to pull the article, and for two reasons:
1) Dolan blew a gasket.
2) Wuerl doesn’t want any discussion of Pelosi, Biden, and other Surreal Catholics’ reception of Communion. Wuerl is determined to keep giving pro-aborts Communion, if he knows what’s good for him.
A link below to his explanation. In addition to that it sounds like he has been bounced from the website:
I am grateful to the Archdiocese of Washington that has generously sponsored our conversation on this site for five years.
