Interesting. Would that be the answer you give a young child who is suffering from cancer?
Just a short to the point answer that basically says, “Get over it and quit whining”, is that really how you expect to answer people who truly need an answer?
I agree the answer can be short and to the point, but Christians need answers that they can take to heart and maybe one day help others who may one day have the same question.

No, its “not get over and keep whining.” That’s silly. The answer is it’s all part of God’s plan. He himself the most innocent of all and the creator of the world went through an agonizing death. His apostles and martyrs did so. Christians were fed to the lions. That’s the short answer. No need to teach Bible classes. Its all there in basic Catholic teaching. This is nothing new. We have 2000 years of instruction on this point.
The only suffering Christians go through that others do not is their suffering for their belief in Christ.
So I think Steelfish had the right answer for that part.
As for every thing else I believe Agamemnon had the only answer there is, if we do not believe that we have nothing.
