When I go to Mass on Sunday it’s between God and me, I don’t want to have a relationship with anyone during Mass but Jesus

I personally like the sign of peace. But whatever.

Palms are lifted so that the priest can circulate through the Church sprinkling them with Holy Water and thus, blessing them.

My surmise is that the Philipinos brought that over. And I’ve definitely seen it in the big apple. In fact that was were I first saw it.

More protestantism. Which is fine, insofar as it goes, but I’m not crazy about it at Mass.
