I was told you can start at 45 dollars then up it later. At least you would be covered. They can and will negotiated the bill. One of my friends is on the 45 dollar plan. You can also use it as a Medicare supplement. I read this in the brochure.

CHM has three main programs from which you can choose: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Membership also is based on units. One unit is one qualifying individual; two units are two qualifying individuals; and three units are three or more qualifying individuals. This is the cheapest Christian group I ever found. This is all new to me too. I had health plan from work for 26 years. So after early retirement I use this group. I am sticking with this one. When I get my bill receipts back I will tell you what happen. Peace In Christ.
