Whether or not it is the actual tomb of Jonah is, IMHO, immaterial. It is a site long associated with Jonah, so the connection is there regardless of whether the dust of his bones are.

No matter how hard they try, they can’t stop the God of the universe.
They thought an end had come to Jesus, but no matter what they did He rose again. He is the everlasting and one true God.
Jonah was a great prophet; it’s sad to see his burial place destroyed. But his life and testimony will go on forever.
The sign of Jonah that Jesus refers to is actually His own resurrection. Jonah came out of a sea creature as if he had been reincarnated and this is partly why he was believed. Christ, of course, came forward from His tomb after being crucified which is why the witnesses of His day believed.
It was a lovely parallel which, of course, sailed right over the heads of His listeners. Probably sails right over the heads of many readers today too.
Our son is named after the prophet Jonah, when we saw the video of his tomb being destroyed it was sad, this now is so disturbing.
Islam is not now, nor has it ever been compatible with a civilized world.
It is us or them, turn them into a sheet of glass.
Imagine what they would to Bethlehem and the wailing wall~

Islam is of Satan — pure and simple. It is both painful and fascinating to read this article. CHRISTIANS, open your eyes and unite! Factions (i.e. denominations) within the body of Christ are NOT each others’ enemies. ISLAM IS THE ENEMY.
I disagree, however, with the statement I quoted. The spiritual treasure of the Assyrian Christians has not been turned to dust — nor will it ever be.
JESUS IS KING! His church will endure forever, not in the form of hunkered-down defensive fortresses, but as a living, breathing, SWORD of OFFENSE against which the gates of Hell itself shall not prevail.
In fact, if they keep heading down this road they're taking the world on, people may get angry enough to not wait on God and lay waste to them ourselves.
Sometimes you just have to be someone else's karma.

One of the FEW things I do take ISSUE with the CHURCH on, about Catholics and Muslims worshiping the same God.
