The Church of England is set to vote on whether women should be allowed to enter its top ranks as bishops. [ ]
Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby told the BBC that he hopes the vote will go through, saying the votes, I think, are there.

Sure, why not? What difference does it make at this point?
How are the decisions of the Church of England relevant to anything at all?
Define “anything at all”.
FWICS, it’s relevant to the UK since that is still their state church with the monarch as its head. Also relevant to the other members of the Anglican Communion since this will certainly exacerbate the gaping schism.
This is so last-decade. They need to vote on TRANSGENDERED bishops. That’s the trendy issue today.
There is a high correlation between acceptance of female pastors and acceptance of sodomy within Christian denominations. The Bible does not support female pastors or sodomites in any way unless you completely disregard certain verses of Scripture.
If the motion to accept female pastors passes, expect the Church of England to suffer even greater ills. Then again, this is the same nation which is dominated by atheists like Richard Dawkins, Ben Goldacre, David Attenborough, Brian Cox, as well as a nation in which Muslims like George Galloway don’t even have to practice taqiyya to keep their Parliamentary seats. England is probably a lost cause.
England is gone.
It is a lost civilization, like Ancient Greece and Imperial Rome.
England is now a clutter of socialists dancing on the ruins of a once great nation.
I was in the UK recently and didn’t see anyone in churches except tourists. And this included a Sunday.
Perhaps they can be like the Episcopalians and have a woman bishop that promotes the worship of a mother goddess and feminism. Or one who promotes a gay bishop after her.
The rate the Church of England is going they need to make
sodomite “Bishop” Gene Robinson their leader. I’ve got a cousin that raises hell about how liberal the Episcopal Church has gotten in the past few years. If not for being scared of his wife (the one who got him in the church to start with), he would have left years ago. When I mention Gene Robinson to him smokes starts coming out his ears. A few years ago I told him to take charge of his family and wear the pants for change. Didn’t talk to me for six months. I don’t see him staying in the Episcopal Church much longer.
