Many married men are grandfathered in to the priesthood after going back to school for a couple years. It’s up to him.

If his wife dies, however, and he has been ordained a Catholic priest, he cannot remarry.

Wait, what? So it is a requirement of the church they not be married? So those Catholics who tell us different are wrong?
