I don't think many are aware of this. I learned about it only today.

I knew that a Catholic education was recommended, but I did not know of the grave warning about the warning about state education being dangerous.

I think it is very dangerous to send Catholic children to government schools. Also at the college level it is imperative that parents send their children to real catholic schools, not ones that are nominally Catholic.

When I taught religious ed for the government school kids it was incredibly sad. It is really a disservice to all of them. They are in a secular setting and not getting the great history of western civilization that makes the world make sense.

To me it's far more then the actual Bible and CCC, they miss the rich history of music, literature, art etc that is in existence because of the Catholic Church.
