This is a description of the offer the Lord makes to all who come in faith. Jed’s putting it poetically. It’s the Lord that makes heaven heaven.
Are you humble enough, HG, to know when you’ve encountered a place in life where you need to count on something different than your gun?
Well, folks will mock. But the trouble this land is seeing needs a better answer than man can generate. It’s in a spiritual quicksand. The Lord is reaching out, even though Jed.
If you want something more conventionally evangelistic and less metaphorical, see John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [one-of-a-kind] Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Look, Jed hasn’t spewed any pea soup or anything like this. He’s talking about good stuff. If the bible says he’s wrong then show it. But the bible also says “Do not treat prophecies with contempt.” You oughtta check them out.
And yes, a valid prophetic mode is first person dialogue from the divine. Now not everything that comes in first person is God... but not everything that comes in first person ISN’T, either. We check it out. If the bible says it’s wrong it’s wrong. If it’s a case of using a valid metaphor then it might well be right, and it’s at least a new way of looking at things.
And so, what is a paradise? Some kind of sheltered, protected area of great beauty is what I might think about. Any other ideas?

Test everything.
You can’t assume a priori it’s wrong. We have a person stating a putative prophecy. This happened in the church before. Just because the bible doesn’t list a person doesn’t mean it’s ipso facto wrong.
This, frankly, looks a lot like a prophecy in the vein of “forthtelling.” Nothing’s here that we could not have already asserted in the bible’s own poetic terms based on true assertions in the bible. But instead of being inspired — ah, here’s a fresh view — you just go ragging about what a “nut” Jed is. Some people lack a Life and need to get it and it looks like that might not be Jed but you!
Yes it is as “funny as hell” — the devil is quite the clown, really, trying to tear down anything valid that is stated to the good about God, because it doesn’t fit some sort of literalistic straitjacket.

Indeed pretending is wrong, but how can you prove it to be pretense?
You’ll knock down God anywhere He appears like whack-a-mole if you get gratuitously literalistic. “Quarrels about words” is one thing the New Testament condemns! If the words mean the same thing as something God did state, then we have a valid restatement.
Well, we got to look at what this entity is claiming. If it agrees with scriptural statements, then if it’s the devil we know too little yet to identify it.
But really some people are impossible to please. You give them exact bible quotes and they call you nuts. You paraphrase to minimize the hackneyed factor and they call you nuts. Maybe their problem is that they don’t want to hear ANYTHING from God except some excuse to say it’s wrong to speak.
Personally, anyone who writes stuff using "I" when pretending to speak for God.. is a nut. Or worse.
