To: Trapped Behind Enemy Lines

Well, thank you. That’s nice. But the fact is that Pope Benedict’s Summorum Pontificum (2007) wouldn’t have been necessary but for the fact that most of the bishops worldwide were not supportive of those who preferred the TLM. And the resistance that it received and continues to receives shows which side has the upper hand in this debate. The demand for uniformity is not coming from the supporters of Summorum Pontificum but rather its opponents. And I’m not talking about lay people like you, but rather people with actual power over these issues (i.e., modernist bishops).
