Could you imagine how ridiculous everybody would think it was if a story came out entitled "After Pastor's Son Caught Shoplifting, Southern Baptist Church Breaks With Denomination on Theft"???

Yet, this is no less ridiculous in the eyes of God, but there are many people calling it a noble and courageous....

Great point. Ok, homosexual acts are ok. What’s next? As many have said, polygamy? bestiality? Abortion?

It’s not a slippery slope.

It’s a cliff.

Sin destroys the sinner. And opens the door to new sin.

Will be interesting to see what happens to pastor’s church (term and concept not in scripture).

I’ve seen just that thing. A parent will justify their child doing just about anything. There are a number of churches who do not count it as stealing if it is a “poor” person stealing from a “rich” person. They see it as a net good.
