The president of the Evangelical Theological Society, an association of 4,300 Protestant theologians, resigned this month because he has joined the Roman Catholic Church.
The May 5 announcement by Francis J. Beckwith, a tenured associate professor at Baptist-affiliated Baylor University in Waco, Tex., has left colleagues gasping for breath and commentators grasping for analogies.
One blogger likened it to Hulk Hogan's defection from the World Wrestling Federation to the rival World Championship Wrestling league.

Go ye into all the world...
And we must remain in Him and keep His commands, or be "thrown into the fire and burned." We must also "repent and believe."
Regardless, you left out some important context from the Catechism.
1257 The Lord himself affirms that Baptism is necessary for salvation.60 He also commands his disciples to proclaim the Gospel to all nations and to baptize them.61 Baptism is necessary for salvation for those to whom the Gospel has been proclaimed and who have had the possibility of asking for this sacrament.62 The Church does not know of any means other than Baptism that assures entry into eternal beatitude; this is why she takes care not to neglect the mission she has received from the Lord to see that all who can be baptized are "reborn of water and the Spirit." God has bound salvation to the sacrament of Baptism, but he himself is not bound by his sacraments.Baptism is normative for salvation.
There we go!
It'll take a talking ass.
I'm available...
So says the garrulous individual.
So you speak for God huh, you’re full of it.
And yet they became the world. Tragedy.
I've looked in his creel.
There is an infinite supply of red herrings in it.
No. God spoke to Peter. Your argument is not with me.
Interesting how when Catholics do the same, all we hear from other Catholics is.....
***crickets***.

Maybe because they don't do it. God knows I'd love to get pinged to your pearls...
God forbid a protestant should not be hip to the latest cultural trends. How else would the be able to evangelize without their wrist bands, rock concerts, and t-shirts. Sad and pathetic really.
Jesus ate with the tax collectors and prostitutes and was soundly condemned by the religious leaders of the day as being a glutton and drunkard.
How is that attitude any different?
Luke 18:9-14 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get. But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner! I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.
She me the protestant equivalent of the show listed below and I will be the first to watch it.

In my experience the wisest, most serious-minded, most probing, most searching Christians end up converting from Protestantism to Catholicism, not the other way around. Also, converts from Protestantism to Catholicism typically loved their Protestant faith and knew it and understood it well. Converts from Catholicism to Protestantism, on the other hand, typically never loved the Catholic faith and were very poorly catechized. Give that some thought, because it’s true.

The Bible says if you don’t work you don’t eat. That includes blacks or anyone else.

It is hard to take those kind of posts seriously. It comes across like wishful thinking - a denial of reality.
If priests leave, you are claiming they never loved their faith, were poorly catechized and were not thoughtful. Your posts have no credibility when you go to extremes like this.
In the meantime, please continue to send 10s of millions of Romans from around the world to Christ. We will take care of them and catechized them correctly.
I apologize for my cross words first thing on a Sunday morning.
